The story takes place in the early 1990s, when China was in a period of reform and opening up and the working tide was booming. In a mountain village in Gannan, Jiangxi Province, three young men, Zeng Yuming, Liu Ning and Xie Pengfei, who were born in the same year, the same month, the same day and the same hour, were married on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival. After that, they went out of the village one after another and joined the flood of reform and opening up.
